Description: The invention relates to a fastening device for fastening a device, in particular a communication device, into an opening made in a wall of a control cabinet or in a door of a control cabinet. The invention further relates to a door for a control cabinet, comprising at least one opening, which is designed for the attachment of a fastening device according to the invention, that a covering element of the fixing device fastened in the opening is adapted to cover the opening. Finally, the invention relates to a control cabinet comprising such a door.
There is a growing need to accommodate devices that do not serve to distribute electrical energy in cabinets. In particular, these devices may be communication devices that allow, for example, communication with an electronic electricity meter installed in the control cabinet. Thus, such a device may be a router provided with a radio communication device or a radio communication device connected to a router. Furthermore, for example, switching states in the control cabinet installed overvoltage protection switch can be passed by remote data transmission to external systems.
To install these devices, which find no place on hat rails of the cabinet, conventionally installation panels are used with a variety of mounting holes for a screw mounting the devices. Alternatively, these devices may also be clipped to the installation panel or hung in the installation panel. These installation panels are often attached to a back wall of the cabinet.
Enclosures of the above type must ensure a certain degree of protection and impact resistance and are therefore closed with a stable door. For this purpose, the door can be made of a metallic material. This door protects the devices located in the control cabinet against mechanical shocks of any kind, prevents dust and Ti entry, protects against water or chemicals and also provides a shapely housing for cabling required in an electrical installation. The doors of the control cabinets are usually made of sheet metal to ensure sufficient mechanical strength. Furthermore, these doors are often painted to achieve a simple and clean design.
If the additional devices as described above attached to an installation panel, which is arranged on a rear wall of the cabinet, then a heating of the device also leads to a heating of the air in the cabinet, which can result in heat build-up in the cabinet , This heat build-up can result in reduced life or device shutdown.
Another disadvantage of the control cabinets according to the prior art is that the means of the installation panel attached to the rear wall of the cabinet devices are often equipped with wireless communication devices whose radio signals through the door made of sheet metal on a distribution outside the cabinet are impaired. Such radio signals can be transmitted, for example by means of antennas of the device from the device.
It is the object of the present invention to avoid the disadvantages of the prior art and in particular to provide a fastening device that allows easy installation of a device within a cabinet and ensures a sufficiently good signal transmission of the device in an environment outside the cabinet. It is a further object of the present invention to provide a fastening device that enables sufficient cooling of the device attached thereto.
This object is achieved by the inventive fastening device, the inventive door and the inventive cabinet.
